Kate

I should say that I’ve used online coaches before, so I thought I knew what I was getting: a tailored programme, help with nutrition, guidance to help me workout more often etc – I ended up with so much more than that! Angi completely reshaped my approach to and outlook on health, fitness and nutrition and helped me understand and overcome so many emotional battles with my health I didn’t even know I had.

Since being under Angi’s guidance and support as a 1:2:1 client for 12 months, I have:

– almost eradicated my unhealthy relationship with food (by almost, it rears it’s ugly head about twice a year rather than twice a day, but I now know how to manage it)

– I don’t fear any food or say no to social events because of the fear of “putting on weight” because I have no self control

– I no longer see exercise as a means to an end, but is something I look forward to and appreciate it comes in all shapes and sizes (my biggest weight loss came when I simply walked more every day, I would always have snubbed walking as a lazy persons exercise and I remember speaking to Angi about how I felt I wasn’t doing much, because I was “just walking”. She helped me see how that in itself was enough)

– I no longer kill myself at the gym, chasing the sweat and feeling unsuccessful if I don’t leave the gym crawling in pain from too much DOMS

– my workouts are shorter! Meaning more time for “life” but also meaning I can fit more of them in, because I no longer feel the need to set aside hours at a time

– I love training arms! 💪🏻 I used to be a squat heavy and hard girl all day every day. Now I look forward to a variety of new things and never, ever roll your eyes when you see “bodyweight only”. Angi will still work you hard without a dumbbell in sight

– Angi’s programme and support also got me through lockdown. In recent times, I’d have come out of that heavier, unhealthy & battling many mental demons. Angi supported on many levels and “gets it” when your personal life can interfere with your mental ability to want to workout. She was right there at the end of the phone guiding me through with many pearls of wisdom.

12 months on i can hand on heart say the programme has reshaped my life when it comes to exercise and nutrition and I now appreciate how it’s a lifestyle change, not a 12 week programme, quick fix or fad. It’s something I now have the tools to take forward with me throughout life. 💞💞

Southerly

After spending years with an eating disorder and never believing there was a way I could train and eat again without it becoming obsessive or extreme (like EVERY-TIME before). I found Angi on social media and found her raw and honest approach really connected with me.
 
I decided to take part in Get Shred and I got better results within 6 weeks than I did doing MONTHS of shake diets and HOURS of gym sessions.
I fell inlove with the programmes and the type of training – I finally found my happy place with exercise. Angi taught me how to re wire my brain from just thinking of exercise as a tool to lose weight but a tool to health and happiness.
 
I decided I wanted to learn more from Angi and went 1:1. Going 1:1 with Angi got me to the strongest place I’ve ever been both mentally and physically. I’ve never been so toned in my life and haven’t had to cut out ANY of my favourite foods.
I spent years doing every diet and workout out there and NEVER got anywhere near my goal and subsequently ended up with extremely poor eating and training habits. I’ve spent a few months with Angi and have reached my goal and beyond, with the constant support from Angi my mind is healing too and it really has become part of my lifestyle not just another PHASE I’ll go through. Im now pregnant and will continue training with Angi during and after and I’m so excited to see how I get on!

Just over 3 years ago I took a leap of faith and decided to invest some time effort and money into my health and well-being. I was 4 stone overweight, unhappy, unfit and mentally stuck in a rut. I had tried everything to lose weight and nothing was happening. I had a really unhealthy relationship with food and alcohol and basically was a bit of a mess.

Angi re-educated me and taught me that its not just about shedding lbs and going to the gym. It starts with your mindset. I needed a total overhaul of my life long bad habits, to learn to love myself and give my body and mind what it needed not always what it wanted.

It’s been a massive journey with so many up’s and downs along the way but I have finally arrived to where I want to be. I’m not ashamed of my body anymore but I’m also not ashamed to want to improve it because that is what makes me feel good, and I will continue to do so.

I honestly can’t thank Angi enough for her help and support she is an amazing coach and a great friend.

Angi listened to my goals & then tailored my gym program to meet these. As a 121 client you check in on a weekly basis, I was notoriously bad at this but every week Angi would text me to see if I was okay and if there was anything I needed to talk to her about she would be there straight away with her amazing advise!

As well as helping me meet goals like doing an unassisted chin up, she would also promote self-care & helped me from a mental health point of view too, my gym program was my escape, I always looked forward to what new exercise had been put into my program or seeing my strength go up. Angi is so easy to talk to, she becomes your friend along the way & also you have a huge support group with the other get peachy members which is a huge help!  

I honestly believe I wouldn’t be the person I am today without Angi, I am kinder to myself, I am fitter, I don’t beat myself up because I ate a whole tub of ice cream, I know what I need to do to reign it in if I feel my jeans getting slightly too tight, I am focused and overall I am happier! And this is all massively down to Angi, what she has taught me and her support!

1:1 coaching with Angi completely exceeded my expectations, I have tried Slimming World multiple times in the past, however always put the weight back on when I resumed to normal life and stopped SW principles. I have always worked out, however, never achieved my goals of being more toned.
 
With Angi, I have learnt about flexible dieting, which doesn’t even feel like a diet as no food is off-limits or bad (unlike SW). I have learnt it’s ok to eat carbs, and how to increase my protein intake. My family honestly can’t believe how much/what I eat, and still lose weight/tone up! 
 
I always enjoy the Peach Club workouts – they are varied and Angi always includes great tutorial videos for new exercises and welcomes you to send videos performing an exercise for guidance. I am way more confident working out in the gym and/or at home without feeling silly! 
 
Angi’s approach is holistic, looking beyond just working out and what you eat. I have learnt so much about ‘me’, looking after my mental health, time away from social media and coping with PSM. 1:1 coaching with Angi is an absolute investment and I am so happy with my progress over 3 months. I will now use the hints/tips/guidance from Angi to reach my longer-term goals and still go about my normal life without any food restrictions.

I have always had a love for exercise, but I also have a love for food and drink, one which I definitely over indulged in. As my weight piled on I lost confidence with going to the gym and working out alone was daunting!

I came across Angi through social media, her posts were inspiring and seeing results from other women I know led me to get in contact with her. A quick one to one session with her and I knew she was the online coach for me!

Angi listens to your goals and helps you realistically achieve them. She has coached me through injury, She has taught me how to adjust my diet to get better results, but also that its ok to have the things I enjoy. And she is always at the end of the phone should I have a wobble. I can now walk into the gym on my own and feel confident hitting the weights!

Initially my goal was to feel good for my wedding day, but actually I achieved so much more than that. The confidence I have gained and the shift in my mindset has been priceless and I couldn’t have done it without Angi!

I was always one to try all the fad diets and quick fixes that never really worked for me. I started by walking and then slowly getting into weights with Angi, I really enjoyed it and noticed such a huge difference! I learnt to love myself and my body & that small amounts of what I liked to eat stopped me from binging. Angi is an amazing, inspiring, supportive and very knowledgeable coach.  When I joined Angi’s group of Peaches, I was the heaviest I’d been in years – unmotivated, lost and confused by my diet choices, and (if I’m honest) refusing to accept that it was my diet that was the problem. I had been clean eating for years, but it just wasn’t working for me any more. Angi was brilliant – non judgemental, understanding and patient – and really opened my eyes to calorie counting and being accountable for my choices.

Over the course of my time with Angi I lost a stone and a half, and more importantly, I’ve kept it off. I’m back to a weight I am happy with, and I now have a mindset and a toolkit that means I can enjoy a holiday binge, a night out with the girls, or a takeaway without panicking or beating myself up for it.

I have learned so much from Angi – consistency, patience, self love and respect, and balance. She is an amazing listener, a great counsellor, and full of motivational wisdom to keep you on track. I’ve always had a love for exercise and a few years ago fell in love with training with weights. However, my weight would fluctuate and I didn’t feel I was progressing as I was inconsistent with training and eating. After following Angi for a few years on her instagram and seeing her transformations I thought why not give it a go? Best decision ever! I now have a training plan I can follow at my own speed and the face there isn’t a ‘diet’ plan’ is perfect. Angi teaches you how to make wise food choices rather than telling you what you have to eat. I finally feel as if I’ve found what I always needed, a great coach with great support.

I normally moan at you, but i’m not today. The last 2 weeks I think I’ve been what normal people would call happy and contempt and I don’t know why. I think last night is the first time I’ve ever wrote that in my journal! I have been using Angi as a coach since August 2016. Training has always been a passion of mine but I desperately needed help with my relationship  with food because the habits I’d developed certainly weren’t serving me in any way shape or form. I was a binge eater, eating ‘clean’ as I liked to call it Monday through to Thursday and then pigged out on everything I had deprived myself of all week, with no filter! Angi is a fantastic coach, knowledgable and constantly supportive, always at the end of the phone no matter what. I can honestly say that without the continued help and support of Angi I would still be that person today, Thankfully I’m not!

Having an eating disorder controlled my life for many years, all of those years I’ve never felt so lonely. After having twins my body completely changed and all that I knew was to go back to my eating disorder. By having online coaching I’ve achieved weight loss as well as losing inches, I’m training much less and eating more, I’ve even spoken out about my relationship with food which is by far one of the scariest things I’ve ever done. However, my greatest achievement is finally overcoming my fear of food. Throughout the process of having Angi as my coachI have learnt a great deal about myself, I’m now living a much healthier and fulfilling lifestyle and I’ve definitely changed the way that I look at my body. 2017 saw me training really hard but i couldn’t shift the final 10lbs that I wanted to lose. Frustration was setting in and i was starting to feel despondent. So with a holiday of lifetime 12 weeks away i knew i needed a refocus. Angi used to be my personal trainer and I decided to get back in touch for her help. I knew my training was going ok so I needed to focus on nutrition. We met for a coffee and looked at what I wanted to achieve & with a bit of coaxing stretching my goal. We decided to refocus on my training so I went to bootcamp, which was brilliant but then went on to do strength training at the gym on my own🏋️‍♀️.
So, online training I will admit I wasn’t sure about as I’d always done face to face training but I had complete faith, that Angi would be giving this over 100% commitment. So I am sat here 12 weeks later having a coffee and cake (Yes cake) reflecting & feeling very proud that I have lost 1 stone a week before my holiday & have achieved the weight that Angi set me. But it’s not about the weight, that’s just a number & the 🍑group is all about your own personal journey & how to recognise your habits & how you can change these.
So yes, I eat cake, I drink alcohol, I don’t deprive myself but what I have learnt over this 12 weeks is how to fit these into my day to day life & moderate them. It’s not always easy but we have the 🍑 facebook group who are a fantastic & support each other.
Angi is fantastic. She’s on the journey with you and at the end of the phone when you need her. If you’ve not trained before then she’ll find something that suits you. We have regular Facebook updates “peachy prods” with really informative info. The most hilarious bit of online coaching is videoing yourself while you’re training so that Angi can check that you’re doing things right. I’ve learnt to not cringe at these but use them to look at to check my posture. So a massive thank you to Angi and the Peachy 🍑 Facebook girls for encouragement and support. I’m now ready for my holiday and will be back with the group in March.
