Dark Chocolate & Date Flapjacks (New!)

Macros Per Square (makes 9)

Kcal : 191, P : 4.5g, C : 24g, F : 9g, Fibre : 4g


  • 10-12 Medjool Dates (pitted)

  • 1 Tbsp Coconut Oil

  • 1 Tbsp Honey or Maple Syrup

  • 1 Tbsp Nut Butter

  • 150g Oats

  • 100g Dark Chocolate


  1. Soak the medjool dates in hot water (about 100ml should be fine)

  2. Melt 1 tbsp coconut oil and 1 tbsp honey / maple syrup in a pan. Add the 1 tbsp nut butter

  3. Put everything into a blender and blend until smooth (for example a nutribullet)

  4. Stir through 150g oats, push into the base of a tin and bake at 180.C for around 15 minutes

  5. Allow to cool

  6. Melt 100g dark chocolate in a bowl over hot water, once melted spread over the top of the cooled flapjacks

  7. If you want you can top them with whatever you like! I like using dried cranberries, flaked almonds and cherries but you can use whatever you like if you want to! (toppings not included in macros)

  8. Cut into pieces and try your best not to eat them all at once
