Online coaching has literally transformed my life. I am normally a person who can visualise a goal and go and get it. However, with my diet and nutrition I was seemingly unable to do this. Over the years my weight has fluctuated massively and I had tried every ‘diet’ going to try and achieve a ‘goal weight’ and ‘happiness’. I have exercised pretty consistently since leaving school, but had only really got into weight lifting about 6 years ago when I was introduced to CrossFit. However, due to a lack of self confidence and self belief I struggled to push myself to reach my full potential.
When I met Angi, she asked me what my goals were… I found it hard to put into words at the time but I think now, they make even more sense. I want to be fit, strong and healthy. And I want my body to reflect that.
I have been with Angi nearly a year and for the first time in my life, my weight has consistently continued to drop. Yes I’ve had plateaus, but having Angi has enabled me to understand that this is normal and consistency over a long period of time will pay (has paid) off. I am far from what I want to look like but also never imagined I could have achieved this much. I am the happiest and most body confident that I’ve ever been despite not being my lightest. My engine in the gym is better, my strength has remained the same (still lifting the same despite being 15kgs lighter). All this while struggling with a knee injury the beginning of the year.
